The flame of the struggle for independence, ignited by Sri Satguru Ram Singh Ji, was kept ablaze by Satguru Partap Singh Ji until the country achieved its freedom. During the partition, numerous Sikhs had migrated to Pakistan, and Satguru Partap Singh Ji made tremendous efforts to rescue them. Following India's partition, Sri Satguru Partap Singh Ji extended support to these displaced Sikhs by establishing the village of Sri Jiwan Nagar, providing shelter to those who had lost their homes. He also allocated land to landless farmers, ensuring their survival and livelihood. Recognizing the importance of education, he founded Sri Guru Hari Singh Senior Secondary School in Sri Jiwan Nagar in 1957.

After Sri Satguru Partap Singh Ji, Sri Satguru Jagjit Singh Ji ascended the throne to carry forward the teachings and aspirations of Satguru Partap Singh Ji. In 1983, he established Sri Guru Hari Singh College, a center for higher education, at Sri Jiwan Nagar. Sri Satguru Jagjit Singh Ji was a visionary and a lover of humanity, always concerned about his disciples' progress in the contemporary fields of science and technology. As a result, he gifted Satguru Partap Singh International School, a well-equipped, modern, and eco-friendly institution.

His holiness Sri Satguru Uday Singh Ji is deeply committed to producing disciplined and agile athletes, as well as morally upright and technologically proficient students. He focuses on the holistic development of students at Satguru Partap Singh International School, empowering them to shape a better future and lead a civilized society.

Sri Satguru Uday Singh Ji has conceived the idea that Satguru Partap Singh International School should be equipped with modern tools, techniques, and modalities to enhance students' basic skills and empower every child. This vision is encapsulated in the school's theme: "Where Enlightenment leads to Empowerment."

Our vision and mission are to be an institution where enlightenment leads to empowerment. We aim to provide quality education and the best facilities to students in rural areas, shaping them into exemplary citizens of tomorrow. We strive to foster scientific temper and showcase their talents on national and international platforms. At Satguru Partap Singh International School, our teachers consistently engage in the moral dimensions of education, building relationships with students to assess their knowledge.

In democratic societies, people have the right to expect ethical principles of fairness, justice, liberty, equality, respect for differences, and inclusivity to guide their schools. Education is the training of the mind to achieve excellence, nurture talents, and shape a better future. Discipline, an integral part of student life, is instilled through persistent guidance, molding responsible and exemplary citizens.

In summary, the entire Satguru Partap Singh International School family in Sri Jiwan Nagar takes immense pride in being part of such a renowned institution. I express my heartfelt gratitude to Sri Satguru Uday Singh Ji and the management for placing their faith in me and entrusting me with the responsibility of ensuring progress, preserving the school's glory, history, and perpetuating the contributions of the Namdhari gurus for generations to come.
