Situated at the 9 km milestone on the Jagadhri–Ambala Road in village Bhamboli, opposite the Power Grid Station, Delhi Public School Yamunanagar opened its doors in April 2007 under the aegis of the Delhi Public School Society, New Delhi. What began as a co-educational school serving the Jagadhri area has grown into an 18-acre residential campus with a staff strength of over 200, drawing students from across Yamunanagar district and beyond for both day schooling and boarding. The school is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education and runs classes from Pre-Nursery through Class 12.

In the 2024-25 CBSE board examinations, Class XII topper Sajal Sharma scored 98.4%, with Sunidhi at 96.2% and Sukhchain Singh at 95.4% rounding out the top three. In Class X, Adit Bansal led with 89.8%, followed closely by Sanah Sharma at 89.2% and Anaya Dayora at 88.6%. The school has also hosted the Haryana Cultural Fest 2024 and a State Level Exhibition, and its Principal has received a Best Principal Award - achievements that point to activity well beyond the classroom. The school operates under Principal Mrs. Manisha Singh, who also serves as a Member of the Board.

The 18-acre campus includes science, computer, and robotics labs - one of the few schools in Yamunanagar district to house a dedicated Atal Tinkering / Robotics lab - alongside a music and dance room, art and craft room, library, swimming pool, and a fully equipped gymnasium.
