Established in July 2006 on the Agra-Bombay Highway at Nirawali Rairu, Delhi Public School Gwalior carries the motto "Service Before Self" and operates under the aegis of the Delhi Public School Society, New Delhi - one of the most recognized school networks in the country. Situated away from the noise and pollution of the city centre, the campus offers a quieter environment for learning while remaining accessible from multiple parts of Gwalior district. In under two decades since opening, the school has grown into a campus of around 3,000 students supported by a staff of approximately 300.

Affiliated with CBSE and running classes from Nursery through Class 12, DPS Gwalior currently offers three streams at the senior secondary level - Science, Commerce, and Humanities. The school emphasizes language development alongside academics, with a dedicated Language Lab seating 40 students at a time, where phonetics, debates, and word-building activities are conducted in English, Hindi, and French.
