The D.A.V. Public School Parwanoo (H.P.) was established in April 1989 as an extension of D.A.V. Public School, Surajpur (Haryana) to cater to the growing demand of the residents in Parwanoo. Initially offering Nursery and K.G. classes, the school gradually expanded each year, eventually becoming independent from the parent school on January 1, 1997. Currently, the school is under the direct control of Mrs. Shashi Kiran Gupta, the Regional Director/Manager, and Justice A.L. Bahri, the Chairman of the local managing committee.
