Carmel Convent Sr. Sec. School, Nahan  is a Co-educational English Medium institution affiliated to I.C.S.E. New Delhi. It is a Christian Institution run by the Congregation of the Teresian Carmelite Sisters of Lisieux Province of Jhansi, India. The Sisters residing at Carmel Convent Nahan are responsible for its functioning. It was established on 8th April 1991. Carmel Convent School comes under the jurisdiction of Shimla-Chandigarh diocese. More than 1200 students are enrolled in this institution and cocooned by the experienced 32 teachers. It imparts education up to 10 level. The objective of Carmelites is not merely learning but to share skills, work for change preferring pupil's interest to a successful way. We have students from all the religions, Hindus, Muslims, Jains, Sikhs, Parsees, and Christians.

Carmel Convent Sr. Sec. School aim at an integral education of students: Intellectual, Social, Moral and Physical. The intellectual education is sought to be given by the way of a course of studies that is suited to the mental development of the students.The social education is imparted by way of making the student realize that he is a member of the society.
